I started my career in 2008 when I founded the charity ‘Diabetics with Eating Disorders' which focused on providing support and advocacy for those living with Type 1 Diabetes and an Eating Disorder. I completed a research PhD in mental health and Type 1 Diabetes in 2019 from Birkbeck, University of London and went on to train as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London where I focused on Diabetes Psychology in both Paediatrics & Adults.
I offer a fully remote psychology service for those living with Diabetes and their caregivers via both individual and group therapy. I also deliver training for health care professionals and organisations on T1DE (Eating Disorders in Type 1 Diabetes) and providing Trauma Informed Diabetes Care. I am available for professional consultation and have contributed to governmental reports, NHS policy and regulatory guidelines.
